Evie Burnet, DPT, PhD Evie received a BS in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation and Movement Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience in a variety of settings including home health and inpatient rehabilitation, with the majority in orthopedics and sports medicine. Evie’s research and clinical expertise focus on the treatment of running-related injuries and functional approach to physical therapy; she has journal publications and national presentations in this area. She is an adjunct faculty member at The College of William and Mary, and enjoys running in her free time.

Samantha Chou, MS, PT Samantha received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. Samantha has worked in outpatient settings and has focused her practice on manual therapies, orthopedic physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. She has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical and lumbar spine dysfunction. In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Ann deGruy Scanlon , MSPT Ann attended Villanova University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Ann has worked around the country and abroad with neurologic and pediatric populations but has primarily focused her career on orthopedics. She is published in NeuroRehabilitation for her research on patients with multiple sclerosis. Ann has attended continuing education courses in manual therapy, function based and sports specific rehab. She enjoys biking, hiking and the outdoors.

Robert Finch, MS, PT, Cert MDT Robert graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology from Washburn University in Topeka, KS in 1985. This was followed by a year of graduate studies in Biotechnology at The University of Tennessee. He graduated in 1997 from the Master’s Degree program for PT at MCV/VCU, and has practiced primarily in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. He has previously been designated a shoulder, knee, & orthotics specialist, and since 2006 has been credentialed by The McKenzie Institute International as a Certified Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy spine care practitioner. Rob competed in USVBA volleyball for 15 years, and current interests include camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

Megan A. Warco, PT Megan received a BS in health sciences, followed by a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Duquesne University. She began her career in Pittsburgh; she worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and served as a board member for the Southwest District of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Megan has presented on ergonomics at a physical therapy national conference. She relocated to Virginia and turned her focus towards outpatient physical therapy. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University, and in her free time enjoys running, traveling, cooking, and playing soccer.

Keven Burden, PTA Keven Burden is a native of Hampton, VA and has been working in the field of physical therapy since 1996 where he started as a clinical technician. Since that time he has gone on to graduate from the Virginia Academy of Massage Therapy in 1999 when he became a certified massage therapist. Keven worked as a massage therapist for five years before going back to school to further his career in physical therapy. Following his stint as a massage therapist Keven received his Associates Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2006 from Tidewater Community College. Throughout his career Keven has focused on soft tissue mobilizations in the outpatient setting. Keven enjoys spending time with family and friends and play golf in his spare time.

Heather Reese, PTA Heather received a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University and an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Tidewater Community College. Her clinical experience includes home health, skilled nursing facility and outpatient orthopedics. When she is not practicing Physical Therapy she enjoys home improvements, biking and kayaking.

Tina E. Keasey, ATC/L, CSCS Tina is a licensed and certified athletic trainer with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Virginia Board of Medicine. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).Tina received her B.A. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Fitness Management from Christopher Newport University. She has served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and Strength Coordinator at Christopher Newport University for 7 years where she trained various sport teams including basketball, softball, field hockey, soccer and track and field. Tina has also worked with the 2001 Junior Olympics, 2003 Senior Olympics, several semi-professional soccer and basketball players, as well as NCAA track and field champions. She enjoys working with individual of all ages and abilities who are committed to self improvement.

Todd Pickens, MS, ATC, TPI CGFI Todd received his Bachelors degree in Health Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from James Madison University in 1998 and his Masters degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University in 2000. Todd has worked in many venues including three years with NASCAR as a PRN Athletic Trainer taking care of many different drivers, crew members, and officials. He also has previously spent three seasons with the Women's Pro Fastpitch league team, The Virginia Roadsters as assistant Athletic Trainer and Equipment manager. In addition to his Athletic Training duties, Todd is a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor who works with the general public to improve their golf game through swing analysis, physical exam, and incorporating this with a tailored, individualized exercise program. In his spare time Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as hunting, fishing, NASCAR and any activity in the great outdoors.

Ellen Womeldorf Ellen is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer and has been in the fitness industry since 2005. Since 2006 she has been coaching high school runners and is currently head coach for Team Flash, a large youth track team in Williamsburg. Ellen has been an avid runner for over 25 years and competes in road, cross country and adventure races from 5k to marathons. Ellen joined TPMG in December 2009 and will work as a Personal Trainer at VCPT in Williamsburg.
