DANIEL CARR, M.D. is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended and completed his residency at the University of Vermont. Dr. Carr is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American College of Sports Medicine. He served as the head U.S. physician at the 2002 Winter Olympics, held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Carr specializes in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. In addition to caring for patients in the Newport News location, Dr. Carr can also see patients in our Williamsburg locale on Monday, Tuesday and Friday of each week. Dr. Carr joined TPMG in fall of 2005.

JEFFREY MOORE, M.D. is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia and has been practicing for 15 years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has clinical privileges at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, The Doctors Surgery Center in Williamsburg and Riverside Hospital. His special skills include extensive experience in adult reconstructive spinal surgery, as well as minimally invasive spinal techniques. Dr. Moore is currently the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Doctor's Surgery Center in Williamsburg. In addition to caring for patients in the Newport News location, Dr. Moore can also see patients in our Williamsburg locale on Thursdays of each week. Dr. Moore joined TPMG in fall of 2005.

MICHAEL B. POTTER, M.D. completed his Sports Medicine training at Wake Forest University. He served as the team physician at Wake Forest University during his fellowship, as well as the team physician at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte prior to joining TPMG. Currently, he is Head Team Physician at the College of William and Mary. He is also active in patient education and local high school sports.

DAN ELLIOTT, D.O. received his Bachelor of Science degree from Grace College in Indiana. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Elliott completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Elliott is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Currently, he is the team physician for Christopher Newport University, is active with the Peninsula High School Athletics program, and provides coverage for the US Ski Team. He joined the TPMG Orthopedics office in Newport News in August of 2006. |

James Dallis, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in New York. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine in Long Island, New York. Dr. Dallis completed his residency in Orthopaedics at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Dallis is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He joined the TPMG Orthopedics offices in Newport News on October 1, 2009.
