Patients are cared for by appointment only. If you experience a sudden illness or injury during office hours, call our office. Indicate that you have an urgent condition requiring medical attention. We will either schedule an appointment for you on the same day or refer you to the hospital emergency department. If you require same-day medical attention, please call early in the day to schedule an appointment.

For patient convenience, Family Practice - Norge offers designated in-office laboratory testing and x-ray services.

If hospitalization is required, our physicians will coordinate your care with a carefully selected and experienced hospital-based physician.

If you have an urgent medical need after office hours or on the weekend that requires the attention of a physician, please call our office. Our telephones are automatically transferred to our medical answering service. They will relay your message to our on-call physician.

Please request prescription refills during your regular appointment with your physician, or ask your pharmacy to fax us your refill request. You may also call our Prescription Refill line at (757) 345-3290. Be sure to have your prescription bottle available when you call, so that you can follow the prompts and provide the information necessary to complete your request. Please allow 7 days for us to process your request.

Please request referrals during your appointment and allow 1 week for us to process your request with your insurance carrier.
