ALLEN R. FENDERSON, M.D., ABFM received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and earned his Doctor of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fenderson is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Virginia Beach since 1978.

MARK R. WINTERS, M.D., ABFM received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and earned his Doctor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Winters is board certified in Family Medicine, an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and Past-President of the Virginia Beach Academy of Family Physicians. He has been practicing in Virginia Beach for over twenty years. His special medical interests include Sports Medicine, hypertension, and clinical research.

JOY M. GIANVITTORIO, M.D., ABFM received her undergraduate degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia where she earned a B.S. in biology. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in 1997. She completed her internship and residency at the Williamsport Hospital Family Medicine Program, Williamsport, PA in 2000. Dr. Gianvittorio is board certified in Family Medicine. Her special interests are wellness and family oriented care focusing on diabetes management, hypertension and dyslipidemia; women’s health; depression; and the complete care of children and adolescents, including newborn care. Dr. Gianvittorio joined Holland Road Family Medicine on January 1, 2008.

ERIC M. BYMAN, M.D., ABFM grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He graduated from Old Dominion University, and was commissioned as a naval officer; after fulfilling his service obligation, he left the Navy to study medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Byman is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and holds a Diploma in International Health. In addition to providing primary care to patients of all ages, Dr. Byman’s medical skills include travel medicine, minor cosmetic procedures, and orthopaedic injections. Dr. Byman lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and children; in his free time he enjoys time with his family, outdoor activities, and adult kickball. He joined TPMG Holland Road on September, 2010.

DOUGLAS JAY ROSS, PA-C, received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Bachelors of Science program at the University of Nebraska Medical School. He is a certified Physician Assistant and joined TPMG Holland Road Family Medicine in 1995. |

KAREN R. RYAN, PA-C, received her Bachelor's of Science Degree from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Bachlors of Science program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA. She is a certified Physician Assistant and has been practicing in Virginia Beach since 2006. She joined TPMG Holland Road Family Medicine in April, 2009. |
