ANNE L. LEDDY, M.D. is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Prior to establishing her practice on the Peninsula in 1988, Dr. Leddy was a member of the Endocrine Division and medical faculty at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Leddy is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She has a special interest in thyroid and lipid disorders and has recently introduced Arteriovision Carotid IMT measurement as a guide for cholesterol treatment. Dr. Leddy joined TPMG on October 1, 2008.

H. ALEXANDER WILSON, III, M.D. is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Following training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, he was on the faculty at the University of North Carolina and an Arthritis Foundation investigator at the National Institutes of Health. He is a member of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and a charter member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Society for Clinical Densitometry (bone density testing). Dr. Wilson has been in practice on the Peninsula since 1988. Dr. Wilson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He has a particular interest in osteoporosis prevention and rheumatoid arthritis and related conditions. Dr. Wilson joined TPMG on October 1, 2008.

KAREN L. KNUDSEN, M.D. is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. Dr. Knudsen completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health System. She recently completed an Endocrine Fellowship at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Knudsen is board certified in Internal Medicine and a board candidate in Endocrinology. She joined the Bone Health Center in Newport News on August 1, 2010.
